The Barksdale Spouses’ Club scholarship funds are available to dependents of all ranks of the U.S. Armed Forces (Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard currently assigned to BAFB, retiree and/or survivor). Acceptance of an appointment to a service academy, or a full tuition four year scholarship, either before or after selection as a recipient of a BSC Scholarship, will automatically terminate consideration for an entitlement to a BSC Scholarship. If selected for a scholarship, high school seniors must submit proof of enrollment at an accredited college, university, vocational or technical school with a copy of your college acceptance letter. In addition, if selected, high school seniors need to submit a letter from their counselor verifying national test scores (SAT and/or ACT) and grade point average (GPA). Must be in good academic standing and have obtained a 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA.
