Military Spouse (Non-Active Duty) Scholarship

The Barksdale Spouses’ Club Teacher Grants are available to dependents of all ranks of the U.S. Armed Forces (Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard currently assigned to BAFB, retiree and/or survivor) and veterans.  Great teachers are always looking for new ways to expand their instruction and engage their students. Innovative teaching is important--but it can be expensive. The BSC will award a $500 grant to eligible teachers who fit the above criteria. Selection of awardees will be made by the BSC Scholarship Committee. The aim of this project is to aid military spouse teachers in your continued efforts to assist with the unique educational needs of Shreveport/Bossier City children.
