WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A MEMBER

The Barksdale Spouses' Club strives for inclusivity instead of exclusivity. If you are stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base, there is a place for you in this club and we would love for you to join us. Our monthly socials are wonderful opportunities to make new friends and reconnect with old ones. Our smaller social clubs are vast and cover a myriad of interests; if you don't see one that suits you, we can start a new one! You never know who has your same interests and what better way to make your assignment here in the Bayou State more enjoyable that to do the things you love. There are formal events, fundraisers, volunteer projects, board positions, and everything in between.

By becoming a member of the Barksdale Spouses' Club, you will have access to one of the largest groups of military spouses in the area (if not the largest!). What does that mean? In one word, it means SUPPORT. It means having support when you are moving into the area, when you have moved away from home for the first time, when you have moved away from all of your friends, when you are looking for things to do, when you want to start a new hobby, when your spouse it TDY or deployed and you need some time to yourself. It means you will have support through new and old friendships, with brand new spouses and with seasoned spouses who have seen everything (and every place) under the sun.

Our membership network is vast and your military friends will know what it is like to go through what you are going through. We take care of each other, we look out for each other, but most of all, we are here to support each other in the military life.
